Family Service Sundays

Family Services offer everyone in the parish the chance to worship God in community for the entire service. Worship on these days is specially tailored to the needs of our young readers with simple music, participatory sermons and a variety of ways to join the celebration.

The seven Family Services for 2011-12 will be held on significant festival days of the church year and our parish life:

• September 11 – Fall Kick-off Day
• October 2 – Feast of St. Francis and Blessing of Animals
• October 30 – Pre-Halloween Celebration
• December 4 – Advent Storytelling
• January 29 – Epiphany Celebration of Light
• March 18 – Mid-Lent Refreshment Sunday and a Visit from St. Patrick
• May 13 – Eastertide Celebration & Mother’s Day

There are no church school classes offered on Family Service Sundays.
Nursery Care is available for children age three and under.
