St. John’s has been blessed with a rich heritage of liturgical music ranging from the 3rd century to the 21st.
St. John’s Choir sings at the 11:00 a.m. services and all major festivals, and consists of dedicated volunteers led by three professional and conducted by the Director of Music, Dr. Ronald Arnatt, who is also the organist.
St. John’s Children’s Choir, directed by Johanna Kimball and Peter Hoyt, sings at the 11:00 service once a month throughout the school year.
St. John’s Concert Series produces five or six concerts from October through April; programs run the gamut of diversity – choral music from Palestrina to Gospel, dance, puppets, poetry, opera, organ, orchestra.
