Worship
At St. John’s, worship is at the center of our life together. We gather to reflect on Scripture and give thanks to God in the celebration of Holy Eucharist.
Fall/Spring/Winter
Sunday at 8:00am: Rite 1 Holy Communion
A spoken, meditative service officiated from the chantry altar
Sunday at 10:00am: Rite II Holy Communion
This service includes a full choir and is offered in-person and live-streamed, officiated from the high altar
Children
Children of all ages are always welcome in our services. The sound of children in church is holy! That said, for parents and caregivers who prefer it, childcare is available at the 10:00 service for children 6 and under.
The First Sunday of every month we hold Children's Chapel during the sermon and prayers of the people. This allows children a chance to hear an age-appropriate lesson by the vicar. Adults are welcome to attend with their child, but the lesson is geared toward children.
Youth
Youth in Middle School and High School are encouraged to participate in Sunday services as acolytes, crucifers ,or lectors. Contact the clergy about training. We also hold events for families outside of Sunday morning, so keep an eye on the weekly email for more information.
Confirmation Classes are offered periodically throughout the year.
